§ 100.05. PUBLIC REQUEST FOR IMPROVEMENTS.

  • (A) From time to time, the general public may call requesting that sidewalk panels, curbs, lead walks, or driveway approaches be replaced. All of these calls should be forwarded to the Director of Public Works for documentation and inspection.
    (B) The Director of the Department shall conduct an inspection and keep on file a list of request for repairs. The list shall be determined based on severity of the condition found.
    (C) The Director of the Department shall schedule any and all work that is performed to correct problems found during an inspection. The Director shall also be responsible for lining up the contractor and obtaining quotes so the Board of Public Works and Safety can approve individual projects under the purchasing agency requirements. Work shall be determined on availability of funds and the severity of the issue at hand.
