§ 94.173. FALSE ALARMS.

  • (A) Whenever the Beech Grove Fire Department responds to any fire alarm, medical alarm, or emergency telephone call at a residence, business, premise or building more that three times in a 30-day period due to improper alarm installation, lack of maintenance, servicing, employee and or occupant failure, or false reporting, a service charge shall be imposed.
    (B) For a fourth response in a 30-day period, the service charge will be $50. For a fifth response in a 30-day period, the service charge shall be $75. For sixth and subsequent responses in a 30-day period the service charge shall be $100 per each response.
    (c) Such service charges shall be made payable to the city.
