§ 70.30. AUTHORITY TO INSTALL TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICES.

  • The Board of Public Works and Safety, or its authorized representative, shall place and maintain traffic-control signs, signals, and devices when required, under the traffic ordinances of this city, to make effective the provisions of those ordinances, and may place and maintain such additional traffic-control devices as he deems necessary to regulate traffic under the city's traffic ordinances, or under state law, or to guide or warn traffic.
