Certain parking spaces within the streets and places of the city may be designated for use by individuals with physical disabilities. When parking spaces are designated as such, no parking shall be permitted in those spaces except for or by those individuals who display a placard of a person with a physical disability or disabled veteran issued under IC 9-14-5, under the laws of another state, or under the laws of the city, or a registration plate of a person with a physical disability or a disabled veteran, issued under IC 9-18-18, IC 9-18-22, or under the laws of another state.
